This article examines the practice of using artificial intelligence (AI) as a fundamental element of the smart agriculture paradigm. Studying the experience of implementing AI in agriculture in different countries allows us to identify the advantages of AI, identify the factors constraining the development of AI in agriculture and the most effective ways of its further development. The use of AI in agriculture involves the integration of innovative solutions, including machine learning, computer vision, robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT), in order to modernize agricultural work. These tools allow farmers to accumulate and process information, automate routine operations and make reasonable decisions, which in turn helps to increase productivity and optimize the use of resources.  This article summarizes the global experience of applying innovative methods and technologies using AI in agriculture.
