An analysis of the volumes of sewage sludge generated as a result of the activities of the main industries of the Republic of Belarus presents. Key sources of pollution are considered. It was established that the bulk of the sludge generated in the republic is sludge from industrial wastewater of food industry enterprises, which amounted to 50.0 and 70.7% of the total sludge volume in 2019 and 2020, respectively. The smallest volume of sludge comes from the mining industry, 2.2 tons, which is 0.003%.
