The current state of systems engineering in reclamation science is characterized by inten-sive development, generation and implementation of new ideas based on the system ideology. Not only system analysis, but also system synthesis has been developed in Russian Federation. Yu. I. Lypar developed the theory of system-structural design (TSD) based on the creation of fundamentally new systems with a priori given properties. Protection of territories from landslide danger involves the introduction of a complex of land reclamation measures. One of these measures includes the creation of holding anti-landslide structures. This article suggests a review of the SSP using the example of anti-landslide structures, although it is obvious that its scope is applicable to various types of land reclamation.
