Some results of field studies on the assessment of the scale and width of flooding of the coastal areas of the reservoirs of Belarus with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are presented. The assessment results of flooding processes and coastal deformations according to the the data obtained with the help of UAVs has proven the effectiveness of modern distance methods.
