The influence of recycling pig-breeding wastes on the contents of heavy metals in the different types of soils is examined. The maximum permissible concentrations (MPC) and approximate permissible concentrations (APC) of these metals are given. It is concluded that the content of the mobility of the compounds depends on the reagents used in their determination. Along with heavy
metals, in the vicinity of livestock-breeding complexes it is necessary to determine the COD (chemical oxygen demand), as well as the concentration of ammonium and nitrates in groundwater.
