The article presents the efficiency of new experimental absorber columns equipped with a filtering backfill of mixed top peat and local low filtered soil to remove surface and groundwater of enclosed depressions in heavy soils. Modern absorber columns and technology of its installation are described. Weather conditions which are typical for the area of construction of experimental absorb columns are characterized and preliminary conclusions according its performance in the 2017 weather conditions are drawn.
