The article presents the results of physical modeling of operating of efficient drainage construction in weakly permeable loam. The efficiency was compared according two indicators: the performance of construction (imitation of withdrawal of storm precipitation during long wet period) and maximum withdrawal during continuous precipitation. Ranked series of the index of relative performance and maximum drained rainfall precipitation are obtained. Variant with filtering backfill up to soil surface is recognized as the best.
