The results of undersowing effects of red clover, alfalfa, lotus horned in sod herbage of different ages on the botanical composition of phytocoenosis, yield and productivity are represented. This article showed that the effect of undersow in the 11-th year herbage was maintained for 3 years and in the case of 4-th year herbage the effect was maintained for 4 years. Biologically red clover was the most efficient because after undersow in the grass sod its content over the last 2 years meat the level, which was necessary to provide herbage with biologically fixed nitrogen (26-33%). Provision of 1 f. unit of digestible protein was very high (140-150 g.) in the cases of all herbages.
