The productivity of bean-grassy herbage with white clover, clover hybrid, alfalfa and bird's-foot trefoil are compared. Palatability of pasture grasses was high and was 89.3 - 90.8% in bean-grassy herbage. Actually herbage with clover, alfalfa or bird's-foot trefoil could provide productivity of 5100 - 5300 U/ha without nitric application. In fact application in a dose N30-45 before browsing increases productivity herbage without changing the content of the bean component. The use of bean-grassy pastures as feed for cows in the summer allow to reduce the amount of concentrated feed in the diet. Feed consumption per 1 kg of natural milk from the cow, whose diet included grassy herbage, were by 4.8% higher than in case of bean-grassy herbage.
